The Crawford County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for approximately 850 Tons of spot overlays of 9.5 mm asphalt paving on Smith Chapel Road. These overlays begin at the intersection of US 80 East and Smith Chapel and proceed north for 1.5 miles as marked on the pavement.
The work consists of power brooming off the loose material, tack the edges and placement of 165 LBS per square yard of 9.5 mm asphalt. Please provide “Price per ton “of asphalt to include tack coat and traffic control. See bid package at www.crawfordcountyga.org
This work MUST BE COMPLETED no later than 01 July 2016.
A payment bond in the total amount of the contract, proof of insurance naming Crawford County Board of Commissioner as additionally insured, and e-verify affidavit will be required prior to a “notice to proceed” will be issued.
Sealed bids must be received at the Crawford County Administration Office located at 1011 HWY 341 N, Roberta Ga. 31078 no later than 3:00 p.m. Friday 3 June 2016. Bids will be opened at 3:05 p.m. that day.
