PUBLIC NOTICE OF EARLY TABULATION OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS
FOR THE FEBRUARY 17, 2026, SPECIAL ELECTION RUNOFF
The Crawford County Board of Election and Registration hereby provides public notice of the County Election Superintendent’s intent to begin the absentee ballot tabulation process prior to the close of the polls on February 17, 2026. Pursuant to Official Code of Georgia Annotated § 21-2-386(a)(3), and the State Election Board Rule 183-1-14-0.9-.15, the Election Superintendent shall start tabulation process for the absentee ballots beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Crawford County Elections and Voter Registration Office located at 640 GA Hwy 128, Suite 124, Roberta, GA 31078 in order to expedite the final tabulation of absentee ballots. Monitors may view the tabulation process as authorized by O.C.G.A. § 21-2-386(a)(3). In addition, all persons conducting the tabulation of absentee ballots on June 17, 2025, including Vote Review Panel, shall be sequestered until the time for the closing of the polls.
