The Crawford County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from interested citizens to serve as Crawford County’s representative on the Region 6 Advisory Council.
The purpose of the Regional Advisory Council is to provide a voice for consumers, their families, and other citizens in assessing local needs and recommending priorities for services provided by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). Council members make recommendations to DBHDD regarding services, stay informed about local issues and needs, and serve as advocates with public officials on behalf of the community.
Meeting Schedule
- Meetings are held bi-monthly on the second Wednesday.
- Meetings are conducted virtually from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
