The Crawford County Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Recreation Director.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or its equivalent, experience in youth sports or recreation preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work evenings and weekends and have a valid driver’s license.
Applicants key responsibilities are to organize and manage youth sports leagues and schedules, recruit, train, and supervise coaches and volunteers, maintain approved coaches database, oversee recreation facilities and field scheduling, coordinate registrations and team operations, ensure safety and proper supervision, and serve as liaison between parents, coaches, and administration.
The selected applicant will be required to pass a drug and background check prior to employment.
