Crawford County Animal Control is looking for a Part-time Kennel Technician
The Kennel Technician is responsible for the daily care, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring of animals housed at the Crawford County Animal Control facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of the animals in our care.
Responsibilities: Feed, water, and give medications to the shelter animals as directed. Clean and sanitize kennels and animal areas, maintain shelter grounds. Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the shelter and report any issues to the Animal Control Officer. Asist with the intake of animals into the shelter as needed.
Looking for a true animal lover with a positive attitude. Must be 18 years or older. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Previous animal care experience is a plus! Pay is based on experience.
